My Best Always is based on these three principles:

  • Our definition of a successful day is one where we do our best.

Our best is based on our capabilities that day and is not compared to any other day. Therefore, we understand that our best fluctuates from one day to the next based on our mental and physical state of health, on the situations we are currently facing, and on the resources currently available to us.  Every day our best includes loving ourselves exactly as we are, wherever we are on our journey – this is primary.

  • We are all individuals

We each have a unique set of talents and challenges, a unique set of likes and dislikes, a unique set of goals for the future and experiences in the past. Therefore, we understand that our path is also unique and right for us and is not to be compared to anyone else’s path.

  • A well-defined personal vision of success is key to living a happy life

Our actions each day will be guided by choices we make based on our life goals.  Our personal vision of success is born from deep introspection in twelve distinct areas in life and is a living document that can and will change as we continue to evolve.  We keep our goals in our mind always, refining them as needed, and build action plans designed to fit our life today.

My Best Always encourages the practice of:

  • Daily gratitude for everything the Universe gifts us

  • Self-love founded in the deep belief that you are worthy of a happy and fulfilling life because you do your best each dayCompassion for all living beings and acceptance of the diversity of the individual that allows the whole to thrive

  • Self-care to support our best so we can best support others we care for

  • Continual improvement in baby steps on our unique path towards our personal vision of success

  • Celebrating successes and accepting failures as learning experiences and not as an end

My Best Always examines our satisfaction in these twelve areas of the Circle of Life and promotes crafting a life goal for each:

  • Social Life

  • Creativity

  • Spirituality

  • Confidence
